Unable to send SMS from console...

When I try to send SMS using this command from console:
gsm send sms 1 065655XXXX "Text message"

I'm getting the following error:
WARNING[2685]: chan_dahdi.c:9260 dahdi_gsm_error: GSM 3: error sending sms (+CMS ERROR: PS busy)


What is PS?

what version of dahdi did you use? I think the right command is
sebi send sms 1 xxxxx "Text message"
Did you use the dahdi which contain the sebi? You should download from here: www.odicha.net/downloads/svn/sebi-dev/

Unfortunately that's impossible, GSM GW is installed inside the server room of the bank, only access I have is physical, IT stuff won't let me a VPN access...
BTW call quality is excellent with this card, compared to bank's old GSM gateway

Is it possible to check the signal level somehow?

the problem looks the channel still busy and not released when you send sms. to debug that,
please: modprobe opvxg4xx debug=10 when loading the driver and open error and debug in asterisk logger.conf.
