Server-Integrated ISDN BRI Access for Asterisk PBX

Map ISDN BRI connections

OpenVox BRI cards add S/T-based ISDN line and terminal connectivity directly to an Asterisk PBX server, keeping BRI access inside the host instead of deploying a separate external gateway. Select the right model by the BRI interface role, required port density, and concurrent call capacity.

  • Use TE mode for carrier-delivered S/T BRI service, NT1 handoff, or office ISDN lines presented to the PBX room.
  • Use NT mode for ISDN BRI phones, test handsets, PBX trunk ports, or other TE-side BRI terminals.
  • Choose B100, B200, B400, or B800P based on how many BRI ports the server must terminate.
