HUGE problem with D410E

14 years 1 month ago #5043 by alfalfa82
Hi,

I have two servers with D410E in each one of them, each card is connected to 4 T1, when the servers his like 50-60 calls, it cant connect any more calls, and if more call come to the server all the other calls start to disconnect, also when i do dahdi_test with out any calls the result is close to 100% and when i open traffic it start to drop, i disabled everything that is not needed and the card has irq of its own, now this problem happen in two different configuration, one hasE8400 dual core 2.83Ghz which is more then enough to handle 96concurrent calls and the other has, I7 quad 2.8Ghz which is also more then enough to handle 96 concurrent calls, what could be the problem, this is the first i ever used openvox cards, i always used Xorcom Channel bank with 4 E1/T1, and never had any problem, with 120concurrent calls with hardware much worse then the hardware that i amusing with the openvox cards, are this cards bad to high volume?????

this is from the server with E8400 with 60 concurrent calls:

---Results after 1075 passes ---Best: 100.000 -- Worst: 21.477 -- Average:99.739797, Difference: 100.246314

as you can see this is bad and i cant open more calls

this is extremely bad result and i only have 45 concurrent calls onthis one,

Hi alfalfa82:
I would like to know that you can connect 50-60 calls through one T1 line , or a total of four T1 lines can play 50-60 calls?

You might be looking at the H/W configuration. One thing may take into consider is the harddisk driver,I suppose you run the IPPBX on 2 different CPU while using same harddisk. Try to get diagnostic S/W for harddisk to see what's the issues may occur though I don't know exactly what it is. Just the hypothesis by observing the scenario that you described above.
