A400P don't dial out

hi,

I have Elastix 1.3-2 and intall Openvox A400P card, the problem is when I try to make call, the line make silence and hangup the call, but I can receive calls perfect.

somebody can help me resolve the problem?

hello:
please check:
1) please check the status of the extension, make sure it is registered or workable.
2) make sure you have set a right dialplan for outbound calls.

I dont think a configuration problem because if I try 4 or 5 times the call progrest but i need only dial 1 time to make a call.

if so, please show us your debug messages, maybe it is DTMF problem.
are you using SIP phone?

hello:
you have to run command asterisk -r to enter asterisk console. under the console, set verbose higher, you will see what you dialed. for an example, if you dial 1234, maybe the system shows 1235. that's why you can not make outgoing calls. you can google how to set Linksys SPA942 Phones and Grandstream GXP2000. i think those two products should have no problem with asterisk. check setting of phone.
