Hello,
I am trying to configure callerid for the 3rd time now.
I have read all threads related to A400P and caller ID withou success:
Caller ID is working in my line with analog phone.
Mi server is based on Ubuntu 10.10 32bits.
The caller ID config for my country and operator (Spain/Telefonica) is:
cidsignalling=bell, cidstart=ring
I load modules with country indicator in /etc/modprobe.d/dahdi.conf:
install wcfxs /sbin/modprobe --ignore-install wcfxs opermode=SPAIN
install wctdm /sbin/modprobe --ignore-install wctdm opermode=SPAIN
I have set country to es in /etc/asterisk/indication.conf
I have set country to es in /etc/asterisk/chan_dahdi.conf:
;
; DAHDI Telephony Configuration file
;
[trunkgroups]
[channels]
language=es
usecallerid=yes
hidecallerid=no
callwaiting=yes
usecallingpres=yes
callwaitingcallerid=yes
threewaycalling=yes
transfer=yes
canpark=yes
cancallforward=yes
callreturn=yes
echocancel=yes
echocancelwhenbridged=yes
echotraining=yes
group=1
callgroup=1
pickupgroup=1
cidsignalling=bell
cidstart=ring
#include dahdi-channels.conf
In asterisk, with an incomming call i get:
-- Starting simple switch on 'DAHDI/4-1'
[Nov 1 12:42:36] NOTICE[8174]: callerid.c:608 callerid_feed: Caller*ID failed checksum
[Nov 1 12:42:38] NOTICE[8174]: chan_dahdi.c:8700 ss_thread: Got event 18 (Ring Begin)...
[Nov 1 12:42:40] NOTICE[8174]: chan_dahdi.c:8700 ss_thread: Got event 2 (Ring/Answered)...
According to other threads, the patch for xctdm does not work with signaling bell, so what can i do?
