gsm not found

could u plz help me why gsm show span 1 not working

now I have installed kernel 2.6.18-6-amd64 with opvx-bristuff-0.4.0-RC3h debian lenny 64 now some commands of gsm appear but not all

CLI>gsm show status 1
WARNING[2667]: chan_dahdi.c:9294 dahdi_gsm_error: GSM 1: cannot request GSM status, module is in use
but the command
CLI>gsm show span 1
No such command 'gsm show span 1' (type 'help gsm show' for other possible commands)
i have two sim card installed in the first and second slot
CLI>gsm send sms 1 712000785 "hello, this is openvox gsm card."
WARNING[2667]: chan_dahdi.c:9294 dahdi_gsm_error: GSM 1: Cannot send SM when in state 25
CLI>gsm show status 1

any idea plz help
