OpenVox releases the upgraded IX Series IPPBX:IX160(P)

Shenzhen, China, November 9th, 2020- OpenVox Communication Co., Ltd., the industry-leading provider of the VoIP Gateways, IP Communication Systems, and Asterisk® solutions with excellent quality and experience, today launched an upgraded version of IX140 — IX160(P) Series IPPBX.

IX160/160P is a standard 19” 1U high-performance PBX solutions.On the basis of the original IX series, it adds support for i5 motherboards to provide even more powerful performance, capable of handling up to 1600 concurrent calls (The maximum number of calls tested under laboratory conditions) and thousands of user extensions.Meanwhile, the upgraded IX160(P) will support an optimized and upgraded versions of UPS (Uninterruptible Power Supply), RAID and RPS (Redundant Power Supplies). The UPS module circuit has eight types of protection, stable release voltage, and can cope with a variety of abnormal conditions.

The IX160(P) has two PCIe expansion slots, with flexibility in port selection, supports the combination of any two of the following OpenVox telephony cards.

IX160(P) IPPBX can integrate multiple encodings such as G.711A, G.711U, G.729A, G.722, ILBC, etc., to bring users a high-fidelity, high-definition audio/video call experience.The IX160(P) series IPPBX supports comprehensive protocol conversion, including SIP, IAX2 protocols on the IP side, and BRI, PRI, SS7, R2 on the CPE side.

In terms of software, the latest upgraded IX160(P) can be pre-installed with the OpenVox IPPBX system, Issabel, FreePBX, Elastix® IPPBX software and can supports all Softswitch/IPPBX systems based on Windows/Linux systems.
