OpenVox Failover Module FXOS200 Released

Shenzhen, China - August 5th, 2010--OpenVox Communication Co. Ltd, a global provider of open source asterisk® telephony hardware and software products, has announced today that failover module FXOS200 for analog cards is released. It will add more flexibility to OpenVox analog cards when failover functionality is needed.

FXOS200 is a Dual-channel module, which builds one FXO and one FXS channel with failover capability. When PBX system is down, PSTN line connecting FXO will automatically switch to analog phone connecting with FXS.

This new module comes with the following key benefits:
