How to change the callerID of the GSM sim card?

I have a problem, I want to change the caller id of each sim card when i make outbound calls, but i can't.

My dial plan is:

[from-internal]
exten =>_X.,1,Set(CALLERID(num)=8888888)
exten =>_X.,2,Dial(extra/g0/${EXTEN})
exten =>_X.,3,Hangup()

Or it is possible to hide the caller id? , like when I dial from my cell phone #31#XXXXXXXX, the caller id at the callee cell phone is "private" or "unknown" .
I have tried: exten =>_X.,2,Dial(extra/g0/#31#${EXTEN}), without success.

Is this possible?

The service hiding caller cell phone number is depending on your local service provider. Basically, this service could be restricting.
