D210P One-way audio after a while

14 years 10 months ago #3428 by jimbo333
I have a D210P in an IBM x335 Server connected to one Intertel PBX Sideline T1. I have another configuration similar to another T1 in the same PBX that is working fine (It uses a Digium card though). The problem with my D210P is I get, after a while of working fine (maybe 10 minutes), one way audio, asterisk users can hear just fine, but the remote user just gets nothing or a constant tone, not sure what causes one or the other. It continues to not work until the server is reboot (restarting asterisk and re-running dahdi-cfg does not fix the issue, neither does reseting the Remote end or unplugging the T1). The card and remote end doesn't display any alarms. dahdi_monitor records both sides of the conversation just fine, and levels look good, even when having the issue. I have verified the remote end is not setting any alarms and is set to "Masters for Private Network", which should generate the clock, which works just fine with my other Asterisk server and digum card. I think this is a clock issue, but I am not sure why the digium setup works but this one doesn't, any ideas?

in this case I suggest you try another version of zaptel or asterisk.

what is your current h/w and s/w? the cpu? motherboard?memory? linux version? zaptel/asterisk version?

I have tried a couple different versions, most of the info you asked for is in the origonal post, but here is the summary:

Linux: CentOS 5.3 (Kernel 2.6.18-128.1.14.el5) (AsteriskNOW 1.5)
DAHDI Versision: 2.1.0.4
Asterisk Version: Asterisk 1.6.0.10

I though it might be a version specific issue, so I was originally using Asterisk 1.4, upgrading to 1.6 did not fix the issue.

Server: IBM x335, Pentium4 Xeon 3.06GHz (2x with hyper-threading, for a total of 4 reported by Linux), 4GB DDR ECC IBM Memory.
