D210P HDLC abort/error

15 years 9 months ago #1527 by tbsky
hi:
we setup a asterisk machine with D210P to connect alcatel PBX. the system
would work fine for several days and suddenly the E1 link become busy and can not make calls anymore.
the log shows HDLC abort/error.
i need to restart zaptel to make the link work again.
i have tried to change many parameters in asterisk and alcatel, but the situation seems the same.
what i can do next? replace the card or the cable? are there any method i can use to testing what's wrong?
thanks a lot for your help!!

please change the dchan= to hardhdlc= in zaptel.conf

be sure to use 1.4 or upper of asterisk+zaptel.

hi:
i remember i change that parameter before. and sometimes i got
silence calls.(i can not hear alcatel from asterisk).
i have tried asterisk 1.4.19 - 1.4.21.1 and zaptel 1.4.10 - 1.4.11
is hardhdlc the prefer way now?
thanks a lot for your help!!

Hardhdlc is better than dchan=...
you can send ssh account to support at openvox.com.cn so I can try to check the system.

hi:
hardhdlc still cause silence calls. i make some normal calls, then all calls become silence. asterisk/alcatel can not hear each other.
i can give you ssh account tomorrow. thanks for your help!!
