Solved - B200M/mISDN/DDI/Asterisk issue

14 years 5 months ago #4226 by sourcenet
Hi all

I've got an issue with asterisk 1.6.1.6, misdn with DDI configuration (NT, P2P) and the Openvox B200M. I can neither dial out nor in with DDI ISDN.

The problem seems, that layer2 won't come up. That is, for outgoing calls. No clue why incoming calls won't work either.

My configuration looks as follows:

MISDN Stacks:

*CLI> misdn show stacks
BEGIN STACK_LIST:
* Port 1 Type NT Prot. PTP L2Link DOWN L1Link:UP Blocked:0 Debug:1
* Port 2 Type NT Prot. PTP L2Link DOWN L1Link:DOWN Blocked:0 Debug:1

MISDN config:
/etc/mISDN.conf:
<mISDNconf>
        <module poll="128" debug="0" timer="no">hfcmulti</module>
        <module debug="0" options="0">mISDN_dsp</module>
        <devnode user="root" group="root" mode="644">mISDN</devnode>
        <card type="BN2S0">
                <port mode="nt" link="ptp">1</port>
                <port mode="nt" link="ptp">2</port>
        </card>
</mISDNconf>
Asterisk config:
[trunk_m1]
trunkname = ISDN
context = DID_trunk_m1
ports = 1ptp,2ptp
hasmisdn = yes
msns = *
Help is greatly appreciated!

Changing to TE was a good idea. That solved the problem.
