Elastix 2.0.3 + G400E

12 years 5 months ago #7496 by svaadm
Once Source code install has been finalized all files installed in /lib and /usr/lib folders. I have replaced /usr/lib64/asterisk/modules folder with /usr/lib/asterisk/modules folder and also copied libgsmat.a, libgsmat.so, libgsmat.so.1.0 files from /usr/lib folder into /usr/lib64 folder/ After that chan_extra.so module loaded sucessfully. However, once DAHDI initialization is attempted, the following messages appear:
[root@srv03 asterisk]# service dahdi start

Hi
Maybe you didn't install chan-extra successfully. What's the output of command "dahdi_hardware"? Are you online now ? Please add my MSN:[email protected] or skype:bert.zhang89

I don't think that running dahdi_hardware will help, I am working with a virtual machine. I have also noted that not all modules that used to be in /usr/lib64/asterisk/modules folder are now located in /usr/lib/asterisk/modules. I thing my Elastix won't work properly without the modules in question.

Hi
Could you find module opvxg4xx under /usr/lib/asterisk/modules?and when you compile chan-extra,was there any error? Why don't you add my MSN,so that we can exchange more convenient!

oh sorry I mean chan_extra.so not opvxg4xx.

There is no such module there. Using internet messengers are not allowed in our company therefore I am unable to add you. I think that OpenVox must release proper installer for x64 systems, especially because I was reassured the card is fully compatible with Elastix when I bought it.
