Remote hybrid echo not being canceled by hardware ec

13 years 2 months ago #6609 by miaolin
Please give ssh access, we would like login and check

Or could you give us the hardware model in detail? we will see if we can install a system in our office and check.

also, how many calls happened from restart system to echo canceller stop work?
13 years 2 months ago #6633 by lordvadr
Roughly 1000 calls. Since there's no indication in dmesg that anything is wrong, I don't know exactly. When I login to the machine after complaints, there are typically around 1200 calls processed since last module reload. There are up to 9 channels in use during the day.

Machine is a dell poweredge 2950, dual intel Xeon 5160@3ghz, 8gb ECC memory. Kernel and other info in first post. lspci to follow

Hi,
We've found this bug.
And we think it can be resolved by updating Octasic firmware.
We are contacting with Octasic to resolve this problem.

Hello, any idea what the time frame for a fix is?

HI,
I can't get the time-frame at the moment.
Where did you buy this card?

I don't quite remember. I have two of them, and they both came from different resellers.
