Help with FreePBX trunk and B200P

14 years 11 months ago #3095 by axl
Hi everybody!

I'm a real voip beginner, so excuse me for my really basic questions :lol

I have a B200P card and I place it in a HP Proliant server, my conf is:

Ubuntu Hardy Heron 8.04 kernel 2.6.24-23-generic
Asterisk 1.4.24-1
asterisk addons 1.4.7
libpri 1.4.10
mISDN 1.1.9.1
mISDNuser 1.1.9.1
chan_misdn (latest)

I followed the tutorial for mISDN and I think that the card is set up properly, this is my show stat output
serverlinux*CLI> misdn show stacks
BEGIN STACK_LIST:
  * Port 1 Type TE Prot. PMP L2Link DOWN L1Link:DOWN Blocked:0  Debug:0
  * Port 2 Type TE Prot. PMP L2Link DOWN L1Link:DOWN Blocked:0  Debug:0

(the cable isn't plug in yet, I have to wait the installation of the 2 ISDN lines...)

And now my questions:

- How I can add the trunks in FreePBX for place the external call?
- I must set one port for incoming call and the other one for outgoing? Or is possible to use the two port for incoming AND outgoing calls?

Thank you

hello,
1) add it from add customer trunk
2) yes, it is possible to do that. modify the context in misdn.conf
please refer the setting with trixbox or elastix. there are much resource and examples to set it.

I found some docs on trixbox website and I make this change in misdn.conf:
[isdn]
ports=1,2
context=from-pstn
msns=*

and in FreeBPX I added this custom trunk
mISDN/g:isdn/$OUTNUM$

It's ok?

Thank you for repling
