B100M & mISDN + Voyage on ALIX

15 years 4 months ago #2377 by sourcenet
Hope anybody can help me with B100M and mISDN integration. at the moment im stuck with the following setup:
-
OS: Voyage 2.6.23-486
HW: Alix 2c2 with OpenVox B100M
Asterisk: asterisk-1.4.22 (not yet relevant)
-

after installing the following packages:
- libpri-1.4.8,
- mISDN-1_1_8,
- mISDNuser-1_1_8,

I wanted to configure and start mISDN.

# mISDN scan
1 mISDN compatible device(s) found:
>> hfcpci

# mISDN config
Writing /etc/mISDN.conf for 1 mISDN compatible device(s):
>> hfcpci

# mISDN start
-- Loading mISDN modules --
>> /sbin/modprobe --ignore-install capi
>> /sbin/modprobe --ignore-install mISDN_core debug=0
>> /sbin/modprobe --ignore-install mISDN_l1 debug=0
>> /sbin/modprobe --ignore-install mISDN_l2 debug=0
>> /sbin/modprobe --ignore-install l3udss1 debug=0
>> /sbin/modprobe --ignore-install mISDN_capi
>> /sbin/modprobe --ignore-install hfcpci protocol=0x2 layermask=0xf

after that, my box does a reboot without further notice or log events :-/

messages while booting:
ISDN subsystem Rev: 1.1.2.3/1.1.2.3/1.1.2.2/1.1.2.3/1.1.2.2/1.1.2.2 loaded

hello:
please remove some modules like isdn and Hisax, add those two packages in blicklist.
regards!

thanks.

in /etc/modprobe.d/blacklist, I added:
blacklist hisax
blacklist hisax_fcpcipnp
blacklist hisax_isac
blacklist crc_ccitt
blacklist isdn
blacklist slhc
blacklist capi
blacklist kernelcapi
blacklist kernel_capi
blacklist avmfritz
blacklist capif

no success though :(
not working either, same as "mISDN start" (but not surprising):

# /usr/sbin/misdn-init start
Loading module(s) for your misdn-cards:
/sbin/modprobe --ignore-install hfcpci protocol=0x2 layermask=0xf
<reboot>
