Hi users,
openvox_dahdi-linux-complete-2.5.0.1+2.5.0.1 is now available.Please download it from here , Regarding to this version, we would like to let you know that driver need to be patched if using it with hardware echo cancellation(AE810/AE1610/AE2410, DE130/DE230/DE430, BE200/BE400).

Please follow the steps below to enable the hardware echo cancellation.

1.Download the package from our website and compile it.

2.Then,please go forward directory /etc/dahdi, you will be able to find genconf_parameters, please open it with your editor and add one line echo_can hwec after line 89 to enable the built-in hardware echo module.

3.After finishing compilation, and start loading the driver. For example, A810/A1610/A2410. modprobe dahdi -->modprobe opvxa24xx->dahdi_genconf.

4. Once you finish the step 3, perform command dahdi_cfg -vvv, and you will be able to see some information like this:

[root@localhost dahdi-linux-complete-2.5.0.1+2.5.0.1]# dahdi_cfg -vvvv
DAHDI Tools Version - 2.5.0.1

DAHDI Version: 2.5.0.1
Echo Canceller(s): HWEC
Configuration
======================

SPAN 1: CCS/HDB3 Build-out: 0 db (CSU)/0-133 feet (DSX-1)
SPAN 2: CCS/HDB3 Build-out: 0 db (CSU)/0-133 feet (DSX-1)

Channel map:

Channel 01: Clear channel (Default) (Echo Canceler: hwec) (Slaves: 01)
Channel 02: Clear channel (Default) (Echo Canceler: hwec) (Slaves: 02)
Channel 03: Clear channel (Default) (Echo Canceler: hwec) (Slaves: 03)




5. The echo module is correctly loading if you can get the info above.
