Can the A400 card power a FXS daughter card with only 5V connected to the molex or can it draw power from a FXO? I'm trying to add FXS to a system with limited power options and am trying to avoid adding an external power source.

If you use A400 card with FXS module, you'll need to connect the card with 12V power supply, or the module cannot be detected by the system.
Thanks for the response. It looks like the logic board (net5501) has a four pin floppy power connector intended to be used with a SATA drive. Assuming they follow the standard pin-out on this and provide both 12v and 5v pins I should be able to use it to power the FXS. What sort of amperage should I be looking for?
