Annoying beep with A400P on PSTN

12 years 5 months ago #7441 by zanca
Hi, i have a problem with the A400P card. During conversation through the pstn line i hear a random (and annoying) beep. The person on the other side don't hear it. I've read some posts about the same problem, but the answer didn't help. I have no shared irqs as shown by cat /proc/interrupts:
CPU0 CPU1
  0: 2060576 0 IO-APIC-edge timer
  1: 9 0 IO-APIC-edge i8042
  8: 1 0 IO-APIC-edge rtc
  9: 0 0 IO-APIC-level acpi

I've tried everything, but i can't get rid of this beep. Also the sound quality isn't really good, i hear a constant noise in background. Sometimes i hear a "broken" voice, and some words went missing. This is my configuration, by now i only use the A400P and not he B400P.

you will confirm the pstn line doesn't have problem. please disable echotraining=400 and open echocancel=yes to try in chan_dahdi.conf
